Privacy policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information thetissuelab.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. I'm Andres Corrales, and I run thetissuelab.com through my company, TISSUE LAB LLC (The Tissue Lab), in Weston, Florida.

The short version: I use analytics to see which pages are useful. I store your email only if you sign up. I never see your full card number, because Stripe handles payments. I don't sell your information.

What I collect

1. Website analytics

I use two analytics tools to understand how people find and use the site, such as which pages get read and where visitors come from.

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) uses cookies to count visits and see how people move around the site. It collects things like the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you, your general location (city or country), and your device and browser type. Google explains how it uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., which also hosts the site) counts page views without third-party cookies. According to Vercel, it records data anonymously and can't be used to identify you personally.

2. Email signup

If you join my email list, I collect your email address. I may also collect your first name if you give it, the topics you check, the page you signed up from, and the time you agreed to receive emails. My email service is Kit (Kit, Inc.). Signups are double opt-in, so nothing is sent until you confirm by email. Like most email services, Kit may record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. I use that to see which resources are useful. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) on Stripe's secure checkout page. Stripe collects your payment details, email address, phone number and billing details. I never see or store your full card number. I receive your name, email, phone number, what you bought, the amount, and a partial card description, such as the brand and last four digits. I use this to schedule your session and keep business records. Stripe's use of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

4. Information you send me directly

When you email me, book a session or become a client, you may share details like your goals, training history, injuries, equipment and photos of your space. I use these only to coach you and plan your training. I don't share them with anyone else unless you ask me to or the law requires it.

5. Basic technical data

Like any website, the servers that deliver the site (Vercel) and its fonts (Fontshare) receive standard technical information when your browser loads a page, such as your IP address and browser type.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) tell repeat visits apart from new ones.
  • Browser storage: the site saves a small note in your browser so the email signup pop-up doesn't keep showing after you close it or sign up. It contains no personal information.
  • Stripe uses cookies on its checkout page for security and fraud prevention.
  • Affiliate links: some links on this site are affiliate or partner links. When you click one, the brand's website may set its own cookie so the purchase can be credited to me. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits on any site, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How I use information

  • To provide and schedule coaching, training and consultations
  • To process payments and keep business records
  • To send the emails you signed up for
  • To see which pages and resources are useful and improve the site
  • To answer your questions

Who I share it with

I don't sell your personal information. I share it only with the service providers that run parts of this business, each for its own job: Google (analytics), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Kit (email), Stripe (payments) and Google Workspace (business email). I may also share information if the law requires it or to protect my rights or someone's safety.

How long I keep it

Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in my Google Analytics and Vercel settings. Email list information stays until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Payment and client records are kept as long as needed for taxes, accounting and legal requirements.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in any email.
  • Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of your information by emailing me. Some records, like payment history, may need to be kept for legal or tax reasons.
  • Limit analytics by blocking cookies or using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Security

I use reputable providers and protect my accounts with strong passwords and two-factor sign-in where it's offered. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle information, I'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
